LSS: Ned Newitt - DANGER UXB DANGER UXB!! 75th Anniversary of the Blitz. Using unpublished material, from a bomb disposal officer and Secularist, Ned Newitt will look at the heroic story of a WW2 Bomb Disposal team. He will explain how to defuse a German bomb using historic artefacts. Followed by tea and uxb ‘bombe surprise’ - please bring extra cake with you! Ned writes: "The talk is based on my uncle’s, as yet unpublished, wartime memoirs which I have just finished editing. It will be copiously illustrated. The artefacts are not explosive." All welcome ------------------ This talk replaces "Ned's secular mystery walk", which is cancelled.

In the interest of freethought and free speech we also list other selected events of interest - no endorsement or responsibility is implied. Always check details with the organisers.
