THE ART OF THINKING ABOUT GOD – GREG SCORCZO - AUTUMN 2018 A NEW VENTURE FOR THE SECULAR HALL The 'Art of Thinking' ABOUT GOD sessions will be run by philosopher Dr Greg Scorzo, editor of 'Culture on the Offensive' In this session Dr Scorzo introduces The Argument from the Principle of Sufficient Reason: Discussion about the infamous argument attempting to show God’s existence on the basis of the universe needing a sufficient reason why it is one way rather than another. Followed by open exploration, discussion, debate and tea. No experience of academic philosophy is needed. Each session stands alone – come to as many as you wish. Admission £3 on the door, no booking necessary.
