Description:
Anti-fracking benefit concert Hosted by Leicester Friends of the Earth ( https://www.facebook.com/events/269918693669994/ ) To celebrate the solstice and while away the longest night of the year, we're holding a concert to raise money for anti-fracking campaigns. Leicester's very own Sheila Mosley will be singing and we'll also invite everyone to join in with an anti-fracking Christmas carol or two. There will be Christmassy refreshments and plenty of good cheer. Please come along! Full price tickets are £10 but you are welcome to pay anything up to that amount that feels comfortable - we suggest £5 for retired people, part-time workers etc. But please don't let money put you off coming - if you can only spare 50p, we will still be happy to see you! The money raised will be divided between Frack Free Lancashire and Frack Free Notts, who are on the frontline of trying to fight this dangerous industry.

In the interest of freethought and free speech we also list other selected events of interest - no endorsement or responsibility is implied. Always check details with the organisers.
