Description:
The Little Orange Book: Learning about abuse from the voice of the child Claire Paterson-Young & Jessica Eaton present an event for International Women's Day The Little Orange Book - what can we learn from this unique example of writing from a child experiencing severe abuse, rape and daily violence? What can we learn about how she coped with and understood what was happening to her? Claire has significant practical and management experience in safeguarding, child sexual exploitation, trafficking, sexual violence, youth and restorative justice. Jessica currently works to change the field of sexual violence by challenging victim blaming, victim stereotyping and the pathologisation of abuse victims. About The Little Orange Book: https://www.victimfocus.org.uk/the-little-orange-book1 Free entry. Tea and biscuits provided. Donations towards costs welcome.
