Description:
Leicester's Marvellous Medicine series, hosted by a different leading medical expert each month. Title: Too small and too soon - the science of neonatal intensive care Speaker: Dr Jonathan Cusack, Consultant Neonatologist Cost: FREE Over the last 10 years, survival rates for the smallest and sickest preterm babies have improved. Babies now receive state of the art intensive care with an increasing use of technology. This talk will explore some of today’s neonatal intensive care challenges and what the future holds for preterm babies. Our Marvellous Medicine talks offer an insight into medical specialities at Leicester’s Hospitals and an opportunity to experience what is at the forefront of medicine in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. All are welcome to attend for free. This is not a LSS event, so please check for any updates at https://www.leicestershospitals.nhs.uk/aboutus/our-news/marvellous-medicine/

In the interest of freethought and free speech we also list other selected events of interest - no endorsement or responsibility is implied. Always check details with the organisers.
