How do you want your council to act on climate change? If you only do one thing this year, then please take part in Leicester City Council’s Climate Emergency Consultation. Closing date is 9 Feb. If you missed the drop-in on 2 Feb, you'll still find plenty of useful information and links on the Climate Action Leicester and Leicestershire website ( http://www.climateactionleicesterandleicestershire.org.uk/ ) You don't need to live in the City to respond

Film "The Big Meeting" (2019) Feature film by Daniel Draper about the Durham Miners’ Gala. The unique and inspiring story of the Durham Miners Gala that was founded in 1869. Since then, thousands of people return to the city every year to attend the event that celebrates the power of community and the role mines have played in many people's lives.
