Description:
ZOOM TALK - Umesh Pathak "Kashmir - Tragedies in a Paradise" Umesh takes a brief look at Kashmir, the beauty of its landscapes, its history and the human failings which have shaped the tragic situation today. A review of global and local key players and events over the recent past begs the question: are there any solutions? Umesh, a 3rd generation Indian from Uganda, lived as a student in India for 7 years from the age of 14 onwards. During that period, he had the privilege to visit Kashmir (in 1971) as a 16-year old - and what a paradise it was. Ever since, he has kept an eye on the developments in Kashmir as he has trotted around 65 further countries. You are welcome to participate for free, but will need the joining information in our weekly email.
