LSS: Babu Gogineni - 'Religious Identity, Politics and Secular Values in India

Description: Joint event with Asian Rationalist Society (http://www.asianrationalist.org.uk/ )

Babu Gogineni - 'Religious Identity, Politics and Secular Values in India'

In the wake of Guru Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's conviction Babu Gogineni assesses the current state of religious identity, politics and secular values in India.

Babu Gogineni is an Indian Humanist, rationalist, and human rights activist, who served as Executive Director of the International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU: http://iheu.org/ ). He is one of the best-known Humanists in international circles and we are fortunate to be able to host this event while he is making a short visit to this country.

All welcome - not to be missed!
