This is a change to our published programme of events.

The talk 'Art and Activism' by Hugo Worthy, curator for the arts exhibitions at The Gallery, de Montfort University, has been cancelled.

Nonetheless the current exhibition (Walker & Bromwich: An Act of Participation) is well worth a look. One part is a film about the realisation of an inspirational miners' banner along with a huge inflatable dragon of Corporate Greed, and the other is an art lending library - which includes work by Leila Houston.

The exhibition is open until 10th March 2018.

It is the first showing in a gallery setting of these major projects by the artists Walker and Bromwich.
