Avtar Sadiq (for info)

Description: Avtar Sadiq, who died last week, was a prominent anti-racist and advocate of secularism, both in his home town of Leicester and nationally and internationally. He was a poet in the Punjabi language and to many who knew him he was regarded as a respected mentor.

In the early 2000s Avtar spoke at Secular Hall on the subject "Secularism in India".
