John Beatty: Prostate Cancer (ext event)

Description: Leicester's Marvellous Medicine series, hosted by a different leading medical expert each month.

Title: Prostate Cancer

Speaker: Dr John Beatty, Consultant Urologist

Prostate cancer can develop when cells in the prostate start to grow in an uncontrolled way. In some men, the cancer grows slowly and may never cause problems. For other men however, the cancer is more likely to spread, requiring treatment. Come and find out more information about the symptoms and treatment.

Our Marvellous Medicine talks offer an insight into medical specialities at Leicester’s Hospitals and an opportunity to experience what is at the forefront of medicine in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

All are welcome to attend for free.

This is not a LSS event, so please check for any updates at https://www.leicestershospitals.nhs.uk/aboutus/our-news/marvellous-medicine/
