Description: What is witchcraft and why is it reviving?

Thomas Waters explains, drawing on his new book, Cursed Britain: A History of Witchcraft and Black Magic in Modern Britain.

Thomas Waters is Lecturer in History at Imperial College London, and an expert on the history of witchcraft and magic. For well over a decade, he’s been researching the modern history of witchcraft in Britain, from the early 1800s to the present day. The result is his new book - Cursed Britain: A History of Witchcraft and Black Magic in Modern Times.
