Sylvia Pankhurst's Stone Bomb unveiled, 1935

Description: Thought to be the world's first anti-war monument, created by Eric Benfield to a commission from Sylvia Pankhurst and unveiled on 21 June 1935.

The present monument is a replacement, the original having been stolen. It was also subject to vandalism.
