Prof Bennett's talk focused on the distribution of signs of TB of various strains in badgers found dead in England and Wales, and also mentioned other carriers of the TB bacillus from voles to soil amoebae.
Iain McGill also gave a briefing on the insensitivity of Tuberculin testing which detects around 50% of cases free to be shipped around the country.
Neither speaker's research supported the ongoing badger cull.
