Description: | Anna Feigenbaum Is tear gas as British as tea? A journey alongside tear gas from the battlefields of WWI to the streets of colonial Indian, from the bog side in Northern Ireland to the umbrella protests in Hong Kong. Drawing from military, colonial and science archives, this talk explores the science - and the scrutiny - of policing with poison over the past 100 years.  Anna is an Associate Professor in Communication and Digital Media at Bournemouth University.
